
Saturday, June 18, 2011 marks the 61th Annual San Francisco Juneteenth Festival, the largest gathering of African-Americans in northern California. It is a popular event among the more than 440,000 black households in the Bay Area because of its historical significance to the community.
This year the event returms to the Fillmore with a Parade beginning at Civic Center Plaza June 18 @ 11am, Health Fair. Classic Car and Motorcycle show, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, 3 on 3 Basketball, Skate park, Games2u, and of course live entertainment, food vendors, Arts & Craft Vendors, and Community Information booths.
