Mo MAGIC is a collaborative of organizations that addresses the needs of youth in the Western Addition with events, mentorships, summer programs and activities that explore and experience careers, education, technology, positive adult mentors, field trips, dances, art shows, a summer reading program, back to school celebration, and young entrepreneur program.
Representatives from schools, community-based organizations, the District Supervisor's office, Mayor's Office, Police department, community members, neighborhood associations, merchants and more, work together to make these programs a reality. Since its inception in 2006, the program has been instrumental in dramatically reducing youth crime.
